Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla today congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on completing 25 years in public service. In a social media post, the Lok Sabha Speaker said that Mr Modi’s journey from Chief Minister of Gujarat to the Prime Minister of the country has been marked by dedication to the nation, good governance and public welfare. 

 

Mr Birla highlighted that Prime Minister Modi has consistently emphasised the dignity of the Constitution and constitutional institutions through initiatives like the Constitution Pride Journey in Gujarat in 2010 and the organisation of Constitution Day at the national level from 2015. The Lok Sabha speaker said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi the country has effectively introduced its strength, self-respect, and resolve on the global stage. Mr Birla prayed for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s good health, long life, and a continuously active life.
