Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on being conferred Indonesia’s highest civilian honour, the ‘Bintang Adipurna of the Republic of Indonesia,’ by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.

In a social media post, Mr Birla said the prestigious honour reflects the deepening India-Indonesia partnership and recognises the Prime Minister’s visionary leadership in strengthening bilateral ties and advancing regional and global cooperation.

He said the honour also reaffirms the enduring friendship, shared values and mutual trust between the two countries.
