In Ladakh, the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) Shargole Farida Banoo convened all the workers and helpers of their project at CDPO Office Shargole to celebrate the "Meri Maati Mera Desh" campaign of "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav".
 
During the campaign all the staffs i.e. Supervisor Punchok Dokma and Kacho Mustafa and Hamida were present.
 
In the morning, they first celebrate at Anganwadi centre Andoo Colony with their beneficiaries and general public and later with workers and helpers at Shargole Office.
 
When they reached the office, they held the soil in their hand to honour the sons of soil and sang the national Anthem, and hoisted the national flag at the office complex.
 
They urged the general public to collect the soil of the concerned village and hand it over to concerned BDO through Sarpanch as a collection of Maati has started from the 9th of August.
