As part of efforts to keep the country polio-free, the Pulse Polio Immunisation drive will be conducted across Keralam tomorrow. Two drops of the oral polio vaccine will be administered to all children below the age of five.

Health Minister K. Muralidharan will inaugurate the state-level programme in Thiruvananthapuram. A total of 19,80,224 children under the age of five are expected to be covered under the programme across the state.

As many as 22,288 vaccination booths have been set up, and 46,663 trained volunteers have been deployed for the drive.
