Kashmir integral and inalienable part of India: RS Deputy Chairman at 153rd Assembly of  Inter-Parliamentary Union 

 
Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, Harivansh emphasized that Pakistan has no locus-standi to comment on India’s internal affairs. He said this while Exercising the Right of Reply to certain uncalled remarks made by Pakistan on Kashmir while participating in the 153rd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Arusha, Tanzania, yesterday. He asserted that Kashmir is an integral and inalienable part of India. 
 
During the Assembly, Lok Sabha MP Anurag Singh Thakur participated in the meeting of the Standing Committee on Democracy and Human Rights. While Lok Sabha MP Kamaljeet Sehrawat attended the meeting of the Standing Committee on Peace and International Security and participated in the debate on Shaping peaceful futures: Parliamentary diplomacy, mediation and dialogue for lasting peace. Rajya Sabha MP Dr Sasmit Patra participated in a panel discussion of the Standing Committee on Peace and International Security on the “Role of parliaments in securing peace in the age of military artificial intelligence.” He also took part in the deliberations of the Standing Committee on Democracy and Human Rights and contributed to drafting the resolution on the rights and empowerment of persons with disabilities.
