Karnataka BJP staged protest inside and outside legislative Assembly against the Congress Government in Bengaluru today. They were protesting against the Government for allegedly failing to implement the five guarantees promised by them to the people.
Speaking at the Freedom Park, the protest site, former Chief Minister and senior BJP leader B S Yediyurappa said that the Karnataka state government has failed in implementing all five guarantees within the stipulated time as promised.
He urged the Government to implement the demands as promised before the election or else in the coming week the BJP will go around the state and stage protests in every district.
In the legislative Assembly session today, the BJP members descended into the well of the House and shouted against the Government.
They alleged that the Congress Government has cheated the people by not implementing all the five guarantees as promised by them before the election.
On behalf of the Government Chief Minister Siddaramaiah asked the BJP members to raise the issue after the question and zero hour and added that the Government is well equipped to react befittingly to them.
