Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had invited his Cabinet colleagues for a breakfast meeting at his residence today in Bengaluru as news of his probable resignation spread everywhere. Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar who is said to take over the mantle from Siddaramaiah was present in this breakfast meeting.

The Chief Minister’s office has released photos of D K Shivakumar hugging and touching the feet of Siddaramaiah during the meeting. The Cabinet ministers who attended the breakfast meeting have said that they will abide by the decision of the High Command if any of the Chief Minister changes in the state.
