Justice Mahesh Chandra Tripathi Sworn In as 50th Chief Justice of Bombay High Court

Justice Mahesh Chandra Tripathi was sworn in today as the Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court at Lok Bhavan in Mumbai. Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma administered the oath of office to Justice Tripathi.
 
Justice Tripathi is the 50th Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court. Justice Tripathi studied law at Lucknow University. He enrolled as an advocate in 1992 and mainly practised civil law. He was appointed an additional judge of the Allahabad High Court in 2013 and became a permanent judge in 2015.
