In Jammu and Kashmir, the weatherman on Thursday (6th June 2024) forecast rain and thundershowers at most places over the next few days. Akashvani Jammu Correspondent reports that rainfall at scattered places during the last 24 hours led to a drop in temperatures during the night across J&K. Except for Pahalgam and Kupwara, all places recorded below-normal temperatures.”

The MeT department stated that there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers at most places, with moderate to intense showers at a few locations for brief periods towards the late afternoon and evening today. There is also a chance of thunder and lightning accompanied by gusty winds during this time. Partly cloudy to generally dry weather has been forecast from June 9 to 15.
