Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today reviewed preparations for the upcoming Shri Amarnathji Yatra, which is scheduled to begin from 3rd of July. Chairing a high-level review meeting, Mr Sinha directed all departments and security agencies to ensure timely completion of arrangements related to infrastructure, security, healthcare, sanitation, connectivity and pilgrim services. In a social media post, the Lieutenant Governor said, all necessary measures should be put in place to facilitate the smooth conduct of the annual pilgrimage. Officials said, several preparatory meetings have already been held at the district and base camp levels in Jammu, Anantnag and Ganderbal districts. The Shri Amarnathji Yatra will commence on 3rd July and conclude on 28th August.
