In Jammu and Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today called for sustained pressure on terror networks and intensified area domination operations to decisively eliminate emerging security threats in the Union Territory.
Chairing a high-level security review meeting in Srinagar, the LG also directed officials to intensify operations against narco-terror networks and enhance monitoring of cyber and social media threats.
He stressed for seamless inter-agency coordination, heightened operational vigilance and stronger police-public engagement.
The meeting reviewed the overall security situation, anti-terror operations, law and order situation, drug smuggling and other emerging challenges in the Union Territory.<>
