J&K elections: Leaders of various political parties are holding rallies to woo voters

In the Kashmir Valley, activities related to the Assembly elections are gaining momentum with each passing day. Leaders of various political parties are holding rallies and organizing roadshows to woo the voters.

 

Acting Vice President of the National Conference, Omar Abdullah, addressed a public rally in Aishmuqam in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district today. In his speech, Omar Abdullah said that the National Conference represents the true aspirations of the people. He further stated that if elected to power, the government formed by the National Conference will be people-friendly.

 

BJP National Executive Member and J&K Waqf Board Chairperson Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi also addressed a public rally at Abahama in the Rajpora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district today. On the occasion, she appealed to young voters to reject dynastic politics.

 

Meanwhile, Chairman of the People’s Democratic Front (PDF) and nominated candidate for the Assembly constituency of Khansahib in Budgam, Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen, while addressing a public gathering at Khag in Budgam, asked the people to reject dynastic political parties, which have always compromised the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir for the sake of power.
