Chief Election Commissioner of India, Gyanesh Kumar, arrived in the Kashmir Valley on Sunday. Speaking to the media after his arrival, Kumar said he would interact with booth-level officers in Budgam district.

He described the booth-level officers as the “foundation stones” of the Election Commission and stressed the need for detailed discussions with them to strengthen the electoral process.
