Jharkhand: Students’ protest seeking CBI probe into alleged irregularities in JPSC, JSSC exams enters 11th Day

The students’ protest in Ranchi demanding a CBI inquiry into the alleged irregularities in the JPSC and JSSC examinations entered its eleventh day today. The protesting students, who held a flash march yesterday evening, have announced a march to the Jharkhand Assembly on August 7th in support of their demands.

BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has called for a CBI probe into the matter, alleging corruption and nepotism in the recruitment commissions. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has directed the constitution of a high-level committee headed by Higher and Technical Education Minister Sudivya Kumar to interact with the students and submit its report within one to three months.
