In Jharkhand, rail traffic has been restored on the Tatanagar-Chakradharpur rail section of the South Eastern Railway this evening. General Manager of Chakradharpur Division, Anil Kumar Mishra, said all three lines, including the up and down lines, are now operational. Mr Mishra said instructions have been given to run trains on this section with speed instructions as precautionary measures.

Rail traffic on this section was disrupted following the derailment of 18 coaches of the Howrah-Mumbai mail on Tuesday between Barabambo and Kharsawa railway stations under the Chakradharpur railway division.
