In Jharkhand, Latehar Police arrested an active self-styled sub-zonal commander and 5 lakh rupee rewardee, Shiv Narayan Singh of the extremist outfit JJMP (Jharkhand Jan Mukti Parishad) during a special operation. Based on his confession, another JJMP area commander, Sakuldev Oraon, was also arrested from his residence at Simariyatand in Latehar district. Police said, Shiv Narayan Singh is wanted in 24 cases registered in Latehar, Chatra and Ranchi districts, while Sakuldev Oraon has two cases registered against him in Latehar district.
