Jharkhand govt presents roadmap to become India’s leading AI-driven governance hub 

 
The Jharkhand Government unveiled a comprehensive roadmap to position the state as India’s leading AI-driven governance hub by leveraging artificial intelligence and digital innovation during the two-day National Stakeholders Consultation 2026 in New Delhi. The government presented the proposed Jharkhand AI Policy 2026-31 and outlined key initiatives, including the Chief Minister’s Data Intelligence Platform (CM-DIP), the Health and Nutrition Vigilance System (HNVS), and the Critical Minerals Administration System (CMAS). It also proposed an investment of 1,150 crore rupees over the next five years to strengthen AI infrastructure, digital capabilities, and innovation, along with the development of a 100.97-acre IT Park in Ranchi. Under Vision 2050, the state aims to attract investments exceeding 10,000 crore rupees, establish more than 50 Global Capability Centres, promote over 1,000 AI startups, and create more than one lakh AI-enabled employment opportunities. The government also invited technology companies, startups, academic institutions, and investors to partner in advancing AI-powered governance, digital infrastructure, and innovation, reaffirming its commitment to citizen-centric governance and technology-led inclusive development.
