The Central Government has approved ₹214.79 crore for overlay work on the 126.497 km Ranchi-Mahulia (Tata) road section in Jharkhand. Union Minister of State for Defence and Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth described the project as a major boost for lakhs of commuters travelling between Ranchi and Jamshedpur, saying it will make the route safer, smoother and more comfortable. He said the road serves as a vital link for trade, transportation and economic activities between Jharkhand, Odisha and West Bengal, and that its strengthening will accelerate regional development.
