In a moment of immense pride for the frontier district Rajouri in particular and the entire education fraternity of Jammu and Kashmir in general, Mohd Ayaz Raina, Lecturer in Botany at Government Higher Secondary School Dalhori, Rajouri, has been selected for the National Award to Teachers 2026, becoming the only awardee from the Union Territory this year. 

 

Akashvani Jammu Correspondent reports that the award will be conferred on Teachers’ Day on September 5.
