Light snowfall is possible over higher reaches, along with thunder and gusty winds in a few districts.

The weather is expected to remain generally dry on September 29-30, though brief spells of rain may occur at a few places. October 1-2 is likely to remain generally dry. From October 3-5, generally cloudy weather is expected, with light rain, light snowfall over higher reaches, thunder and gusty winds at a few places. Weather is likely to remain generally dry again on October 6-7.

Farmers have been advised that the current weather conditions are suitable for harvesting apples, paddy and carrying out other farm operations. They have also been advised to ensure safe storage of harvested crops during September 27-28, when rain and gusty winds are expected in some areas.
