In Jammu and Kashmir the Army has developed a beautiful park in Banat Dokri village of Poonch district, providing a recreational space for children and a scenic destination for visitors. This park situated at an altitude of approximately 2 thousand 500 metres in Poonch district, and it offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and valleys.
A major highlight of the park is the installation of a 105-metre-long National Flag, which has become a symbol of patriotism and pride for local residents. The towering flag attracts visitors from different areas who come to witness its grandeur and enjoy the natural beauty of the location.
The park has quickly emerged as a popular tourist spot, with families and nature lovers visiting regularly. They have appealed to the district administration to further improve facilities at the site by constructing rest huts and ensuring a regular water supply for visitors.
