Industry leaders have congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the completion of 12 years of transformative leadership. President of FICCI Anant Goenka said that the past twelve years have been characterised by the steady consolidation of India’s economic fundamentals.

 

He said the landmark reforms, enhanced ease of doing business, record infrastructure investments, expanding trade partnerships, stronger financial institutions and the rise of globally competitive manufacturing ecosystems have altered the trajectory of the Indian economy. Mr Goenka said, under the leadership of Mr Modi, India has emerged not just as a leading economic power but as an influential voice on the global stage. He said, the industry firmly stands with him in making the Vision of Viksit Bharat a reality much before 2047.

 

 

Director General of CII, Chandrajit Banerjee said, during this period, India has witnessed remarkable progress across multiple fronts, strengthening its position as one of the world’s leading economies and emerging as a confident global voice. He said, the country has made significant strides in inclusive economic development, infrastructure expansion, innovation, entrepreneurship, and social development.

 

Mr Banerjee said the focus on reforms, efficient governance, and inclusive growth has enhanced India’s resilience, competitiveness, and global standing. He said, Indian industry has greatly benefited from this enabling environment, marked by increased investor confidence, economic growth, and a strong emphasis on innovation and self-reliance. 

 

Secretary General of ASSOCHAM Saurabh Sanyal also congratulated Prime Minister Modi, saying his visionary leadership has driven inclusive growth, strengthened India’s business ecosystem, and transformed the nation’s economic landscape.
