In tennis, India’s Ramkumar Ramanathan and Vijay Sundar Prashanth clinched the doubles title at the Bonn Open 2026 today.
The unseeded Indians defeated England’s Scott Duncan and Sweden’s Adam Heinonen 7-6(4), 6-3 in the one-hour, 31-minute final.
They had stormed into the final after securing a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Ignacio Carou and Federico Agustin Gomez in the semi-finals.
This title marks Ramkumar’s second ATP Challenger doubles trophy of the year, after his triumph at the Texas Spine and Joint Challenger Men’s Championship in June with fellow Indian Rithvik Bollipalli. 31-year-old Ramkumar has now won 13 ATP Challenger titles in his career.
