India’s leading shuttlers to begin their campaigns at China Masters Super 750 in Shenzhen

In Badminton, India’s leading shuttlers Lakshya Sen, Kidambi Srikanth and Tanvi Sharma will begin their campaigns today at the China Masters Super 750 in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. Top seeds Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will also be in action in men’s doubles.
 
Earlier, India’s Unnati Hooda made an early exit from the tournament yesterday. World No. 25 Hooda lost to South Korea’s World No. 12 Kim Ga-eun in straight games, 10-21, 18-21, in the opening round of the women’s singles. In Men’s Doubles, the pair of Hariharan Amsakarunan and M R Arjun retired at the first-game interval in their opening-round match. The Indian duo were trailing China’s Chen Bo Yang and Liu Yi, 8-11, when they decided to concede the match.
