Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off India’s first hydrogen train between Jind and Sonipat at Jind railway station in Haryana on Friday during his visit to Haryana, Chandigarh and Punjab. He will lay the foundation stone and dedicate to the nation various development projects worth around 14 thousand 700 crore rupees at Eklavya Stadium in Jind.
Mr Modi will travel to Chandigarh in the afternoon where he will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate various development projects worth over six thousand 600 crore rupees spanning healthcare, education and road infrastructure. He will inaugurate the Advanced Mother and Child Centre and the Advanced Neurosciences Centre at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh.
The Prime Minister will also visit Jalandhar where he will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate multiple development projects worth over five thousand 470 crore rupees aimed at strengthening connectivity, improving passenger convenience and accelerating economic development in the region. He will inaugurate 75 redeveloped railway stations, including Jalandhar Cantt, under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.
