At the Asian Games 2026, the Indian Women’s Compound Archery team clinched gold after beating China 238-234 in the finals today at Okazaki Chuo Sogo Park, Japan. The Indian team, comprising Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Chikitha Taniparthi and Prithika Pradeep, entered the finals after beating South Korea 234-233 in the semifinals.

India won gold in the Women’s compound team event at the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou. India is now in ninth position with a total of 53 medals, including seven gold, 21 silver and 25 bronze medals.
