The Indian Under-19 cricket team registered a seven-run victory over Australia in the high-scoring third youth ODI today, completing a 3-0 series sweep. India won the first two ODIs by seven and nine wickets, respectively.
Batting first, India scored 324 for 8, thanks to opener Rudra Patel’s 77 off 81 balls and captain Mohamed Amaan’s 71 off 72 balls.
In response, Australia fell short despite centuries from Oliver Peake and Steven Hogan, finishing at 317 for 7 in 50 overs, due to strong Indian bowling.
