India won the silver medal in the women’s 50-metre rifle three positions team event at the Asian Games. The trio of Tilottama Sen, Vidarsa Vinod and Ashi Chouksey scored 1,763 points, finishing behind China, which won gold with a Games record of 1,773 points. Kazakhstan took bronze with 1,754 points.

In the individual final, Tilottama Sen narrowly missed a podium finish, securing fourth place with 337.3 points, while Vidarsa Vinod finished fifth with 327.4 points. China’s Jiayu Han won the gold.
