India will host the 11th BRICS Energy Ministers’ Meeting at Gurugram in Haryana, on the 25th and 26th of this month under its BRICS Chairship 2026. The meeting will focus on three key priorities- Energy Security and Sustainability, Energy Access and Equity, and Technology and Innovation.
Energy Ministers and senior officials from all 11 BRICS member countries will participate in the meeting to strengthen cooperation on energy security, sustainability and innovation. India’s BRICS Chairship this year is guided by the theme, Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability.
The Meeting will also provide an important platform for India to advance the priorities of the Global South and contribute to shaping an inclusive global energy future.
