India will take on arch-rivals Pakistan in the semifinal of the Men’s Under-18 Asia Cup Hockey tournament at Kakamigahara Hockey Stadium in Japan today. The match will start at 3:30 PM IST.

 

India entered the last four after finishing second in Pool A with nine points. The team ended the group stage with a dominant 13-1 victory over Chinese Taipei after its only defeat came against hosts Japan.

 

Pakistan reached the semifinals with an impressive campaign built on quick counter-attacking hockey, setting up a high-profile clash between the two traditional rivals. The winner will advance to the final and face either Japan or the top team from Pool B. In the women’s U-18 Asia Cup, India progressed to the semifinals after remaining unbeaten in the group stage and will face China today at 9.30 AM IST.
