Five-time FIFA World Cup champions Brazil will play an international friendly against the Indian football team in Kolkata. The match is scheduled to be held at the Salt Lake Stadium on 3rd October. The announcement was made yesterday by the All India Football Federation.
The Brazilian Football Confederation said that the country’s senior men’s team will first play two friendly matches against Australia. Brazil will face Australia in the first match at Townsville on September 25, followed by a second match in Brisbane on September 29. They will then travel to Kolkata to take on India on 3rd October .
This will be the first-ever meeting between the senior men’s national teams of Brazil and India.
