In men’s cricket, India suffered a three-wicket defeat to Pakistan in their Group A clash of the ACC Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup in Oman this evening.
Batting first, India were bowled out for 208, powered by Arjun Rajput’s 107 off 85 balls. For Pakistan, Rizwanullah, Ali Raza, and Niqab Shafiq each picked up three wickets.
In reply, Pakistan chased down the target, losing seven wickets in 48.1 overs, with the help of Hamza Zahoor’s unbeaten 100 off 108 balls. For India, Manal Chauhan took three wickets, while Mohit Ulva scalped two.
Earlier, India had won the toss and elected to bat first.
