Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju today informed that, for the first time, the Indian Haj Mission has received two prestigious Labbaytum Awards from the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for excellence in Haj coordination and communication.
In a social media post, Mr Rijiju said that the successful conduct of the core phase of Haj 2026 reflects the seamless coordination between the Ministry of Minority Affairs, the Haj Committee of India, and the Indian Haj Mission, led by India’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and the Consul General in Jeddah.
The Minister expressed gratitude to Saudi Arabia for its continued support and excellent arrangements for pilgrims.
