Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju today emphasised that India must evolve its sporting traditions into a vibrant sports culture. Addressing the students participating in the Khelo India Dialogue at Hindu College in New Delhi, Mr Rijiju noted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is actively developing a strong sporting ecosystem.
He said everyone should be engaged with sports to stay fit and build sportsmanship. Recalling his tenure as the Sports Minister, Mr Rijiju noted that during his visits to numerous sports camps, he observed that representing India was the shared dream of every athlete.
