Prime Minister Narendra Modi today shared an article written by Union Minister Bhupender Yadav highlighting how Government efforts are strengthening India’s conservation journey.

In a social media post, Mr Modi noted that India’s rhino story is one of the most remarkable recoveries of the species. He underlined that the country is now one of the world’s most important custodians of the Greater One-Horned Rhinoceros with its population showing sustained growth. The Prime Minister added that protecting the grasslands and wetlands that sustain the species is central to its future.
