The ninth Deputy National Security Adviser-level meeting of the Colombo Security Conclave, CSC, was hosted virtually by India today. The meeting was attended by representatives from Bangladesh, Maldives, Mauritius, Sri Lanka and Seychelles.

The Ministry of External Affairs said the member states reviewed the decisions taken at the seventh National Security Adviser-level meeting of the CSC, held in New Delhi on 20th November last year. They also reviewed the Roadmap for Cooperation and Activities for 2025-26 and noted substantial progress made by member states in organising training and capacity-building programmes across the five pillars of cooperation. The Ministry said the member states reiterated their resolve to further strengthen cooperation on key security issues in the Indian Ocean Region and continue their enduring partnership in humanitarian assistance and disaster relief. Deputy National Security Adviser for Strategic Affairs Pavan Kapoor led the Indian delegation.
