Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh held bilateral discussions with the Defence Minister of the Netherlands, Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius, on the sidelines of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore.

In a social media post, the Defence Ministry said the talks focused on enhancing bilateral defence cooperation, strengthening military-to-military ties, and exploring opportunities for defence industrial collaboration, reflecting the growing strategic partnership between India and the Netherlands.

Mr Singh also met his Australian counterpart, Meghan Quinn, and reviewed progress under the India-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The two sides also discussed forthcoming high-level engagements and explored ways to further strengthen defence cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

In another key engagement, Mr Singh held talks with the Secretary General of the European External Action Service, Belén Martínez Carbonell, and the Deputy Chair of the European Union Military Committee, Lieutenant General Enrico Barduani. The Defence Ministry noted that the discussions advanced the India–European Union strategic dialogue, focusing on shared security interests and avenues for deepening defence and strategic cooperation.
