India gets a target of 155 runs by hosts Ireland in final T20I in Belfast

In Men’s Cricket, hosts Ireland set a target of 155 runs for India in the second and final T20 International of the two-match series in Belfast. In reply, India were 54 for 4 in 8 overs when reports last came in.


Earlier, put into bat, Ireland posted 154 runs, losing eight wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Harry Tector top-scored 53 in 47 balls. For India, Prince Yadav bagged three wickets, followed by Arshdeep Singh and Shivam Dubey, two each. Harshit Rana took one wicket.


Ireland lead the series 1-nil after registering a 34-run victory over India in the opening T20 International on Friday. India will be aiming to level the series, while Ireland will look to complete a clean sweep on home soil.
