In men’s cricket, India defeated Zimbabwe by seven wickets in the first T20 International of the three-match series in Harare yesterday.

Riding on Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s explosive 50 off 19 balls, India comfortably chased the target of 126 runs in just 13.2 overs. Earlier, after being put in to bat, Zimbabwe scored 125 for seven in their allotted 20 overs.

The second match of the series will be played at the same venue tomorrow.
