External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar said that India’s Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with Australia has gained fresh momentum over the past few years. Dr Jaishankar made these remarks during a meeting with his Australian counterpart Penny Wong.
Dr. Jaishankar said discussions are progressing on trade and investment under the Australia-India Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (ECTA) and Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA) frameworks. He added that cooperation is expanding in energy sector including uranium supplies for generation of nuclear energy. He added that two countries are also engaged in critical minerals.
