India and Tanzania have reviewed bilateral ties across diverse sectors, including trade and investment, development partnership, defence and security cooperation, digital public infrastructure, agriculture, healthcare, culture, and people-to-people ties.

 

The Foreign Office consultations between India and Tanzania were held on July 22 in Dar es Salaam. The two sides also exchanged views on regional and international matters of mutual interest. They expressed appreciation for the close coordination and cooperation between the two sides in the UN and other multilateral fora.

 

The Consultations were co-chaired by Joint Secretary (E&SA), Ministry of External Affairs, Janesh Kain, and Director, Asia and Australasia Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Tanzania, Felister Rugambwa.
