Chasing 195 runs, India overhauled the target in 22.5 overs. Indian Skipper Shubhman Gill scored unbeaten 84 off 66 balls. Earlier put into bat, Afghanistan were bowled out for 194 in 24.5 overs. Rahmanullah Gurbaz smashed a brilliant century, scoring 102 off 51 balls. For India, debutant Harsh Dubey and Gurnoor Brar clinched three wickets each. The match was reduced to 25 overs-per-side after relentless rains delayed the start. India won the toss and elected to field first.
