The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red-colour warning for very heavy to extremely heavy rainfall over Gujarat and Madhya Maharashtra for tomorrow. Heavy rainfall is also expected over Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Jammu-Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Odisha and Rajasthan. Similar weather conditions are expected over North East India in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
The Met Department also forecast thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds over Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Vidarbha, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands tomorrow.
For Delhi, the IMD predicted a generally cloudy sky tomorrow. According to the Weather Agency, the maximum temperature will be around 32 to 34 degree Celsius in the National Capital while the minimum temperature will hover around 23 to 25 degree Celsius tomorrow.
