The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall over Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Odisha today. The weather agency predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall over Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Karnataka, Telangana and Vidarbha during the day. The Met department predicted heavy rainfall conditions over Assam, Meghalaya, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, and Mahe for the day.

Similar weather conditions are predicted over Marathwada, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Uttarakhand and West Rajasthan. In Delhi, IMD has forecast very light to light rain accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds for the day. The IMD has forecast the day’s maximum temperature around 33°C to 35°C, and the minimum temperature will be around 27°C to 29°C.
