In Keralam, IMD has issued a rain alert for all 14 districts. Akashvani correspondent reports that IMD’s heavy rain alert is continuing in Keralam for the third consecutive day. Eight of the 14 districts are under Orange Alert, indicating the possibility of isolated very heavy rainfall. The remaining six districts are under Yellow Alert, with a chance of isolated heavy rain.
The high-range areas have not received heavy rain today, bringing some relief. At the same time, parts of Kozhikode and Wayanad are experiencing heavy rainfall, while other districts are witnessing moderate rain. The ban on fishing activities continues along the coastal areas.
