In Uttarakhand, Yellow and Orange alert for heavy rain, thunderstorms, and lightning have been issued in all districts during the next three days. The IMD has issued an orange alert of very heavy rain for the Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Bageshwar, Champawat, and Nainital districts for today, July 26. 

Dehradun Meteorological Centre said that heavy to very heavy rains may cause small to moderate landslides, which may result in blocking of the highways in hilly regions of Garhwal and Kumaon divisions. Weather Department has advised people to travel with caution keeping in view the weather conditions. Meanwhile, schools from classes 1 to 12 and all Anganwadi centers in Bageshwar, Champawat, and Chamoli districts will remain closed today in view of the weather warning.
