The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange colour warning for very heavy rainfall over Madhya Pradesh for today. The IMD forecast heavy rainfall conditions over Uttarakhand, Western Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir, Odisha, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and parts of Northeast India for the day.

The Met Department predicted thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds over Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands till tomorrow. In Delhi, IMD has forecast a generally cloudy sky with a spell of light rainfall today.
