In Keralam, an orange alert, indicating isolated very heavy rainfall, has been issued for the northern districts of Kasaragod and Kannur. Yellow alert, indicating isolated heavy rainfall, has been issued for seven other districts.
Meanwhile, the intensity of the rainfall is expected to decrease over the southern parts of Kerala today. Fishing activities have been banned along the coast until July 2.
