The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange colour warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall conditions over Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan and Goa today.

Heavy rainfall is also expected over Haryana, Chandigarh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, parts of North East India and Andaman and Nicobar Islands for the day.

The Met Department has predicted thunderstorm accompanied by lightning and gusty winds over Jammu-Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu Puducherry and Karaikal today.

Parts of Delhi witnessed rainfall this morning. According to the Weather Agency moderate rainfall is expected at a few places of the National Capital during afternoon today.
