The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange-coloured warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall over Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand today.
Heavy Rainfall conditions are also likely to prevail over Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, West Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Odisha, Vidarbha, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and North-Eastern parts of India during the next two days.
According to IMD, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Bihar, East Rajasthan, Konkan, Goa, Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal are also likely to witness heavy rainfall conditions till tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the Weather Agency has also forecast thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Andhra Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Interior Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal for today.
